Interlinking not working properly, remove for the sake of Post-Processing

Interlinking was a feature from a time where video-to-page created multiple pages for a single video and used interlinking to make sure that the people can jump from one thing to another. The problem with this is that now when we generate blog posts the links are linking to the same page using hashtags, and this does not work properly. We want to remove this functionality for good because we are working on a new post-processing feature that will allow you to define more granular changes to the content, including linking, table of contents, and so on.
